The possibility of obtaining blood fractions significantly expands the limits of the use of hemotherapy, and most importantly it allows to separately use those components of blood and plasma that have a purposeful action for a given condition of the patient.
Blood preparations are medicinal products obtained from blood. Allocate drugs of complex action, immunologically active (immunoglobulins) and hemostatic.
Compounds include plasma and albumin solutions; they have both hemodynamic and anti-shock effects. The greatest effect is caused by fresh frozen plasma due to the almost complete preservation of its functions. Other types of plasma – native (liquid), lyophilized (dry) – largely lose their healing properties during the manufacturing process, and their clinical use is less effective.
